| Just featuring a little Prismacolor marker sketch I did a while back, studying one of the many little Chimera monsters running around the Fractured Harmonics universe. Meet the Sand Flea. Roughly the size of a large dog, these little fellows live in the southern deserts where they hunt in large swarms, preferring prey much larger than themselves. Lacking any other limbs than their powerful, fingered legs and thick tail, they have a unique thumb on their feet that allows them to latch onto their quarry and render off mouthfuls piece by piece with their highly developed jaws. This can be a horrible way to die. They're also not above eating carrion. Or each other. Kind of disturbing how cute they are, isn't it? |
