Most of these studies were done at the Natural History Museum in New York (thank god for taxidermy... Where the animals are life-like, but hold still!), the New York Aquarium and the Philadelphia Zoo. (Don't be fooled... I live in Philly. I just like to visit museums in other cities.)
It was difficult selecting which sketches to choose from; my moleskin is practically full by now.
Well, that's it for my (over a) month long hiatus. New pages will start up next Monday, (9/22).
